I think this is also known Bulkowski’s Cloudbank pattern. After the cloudbank ends, price should make a swift and dramatic decline, averaging 56%. The larger the decline, the higher the profit potential as price recovers. The decline is often caused by a bear market. Recovery should occur in a bull market.
I got stopped out of peter Hambro Mining on the 3 September 2008 and made a small profit.
Your comment (12% of All-Time high) I’m afraid does not make any sense regarding falling below 200p. It actually fell -90% from the all time high to its 2008 major low
After saying that one of Gann’s percentages is 12.5% not 12%
If you can re-word your question I’m try and reply better
I’m interested in Gann’s methods, and I came across this video. I checked it out and found Petropavlovsk PLC (Formerly known as Peter Hambro Mining PLC) continued to fall all the way down to under 200 (12% of all-time high). Is 12% one of Gann’s numbers?
Thank you, now I can see enough to want to know more about W.D. Gann. You can be sure I will be looking for the 50% rule on some charts, to see how it works. We all look for an edge to maybe put the odds in our favor, and this is one tool to use too help get that edge.

Yes, its a level worth watching but there is more to it than just 50%
does 50% rule works for low? For example low is 320 plus 50%= 480
Gannalyst software does these % moves easily
Awesome presentations Gary, much appreciated
hi good work, but i dont understand which tool you use to get the 50 percent. i use igindex and i can’ t find it. how is it put on the chart? thanks.
